Walking in Paws?
Probably will leave it be as enough people enjoy it but I personally can't get myself to continue it as it's been 5 years since I touched it and I've gone through a shit ton from depression, suicide, dropping out of college, finding a job, community college, and finding my addiction in tabletop rpgs. If I do continue it, I would need to start over from scratch as it's a bit too self insert Mary Fucking Sue to me. Seriously, 17 me was passionate, but not the writer I am today.

Though I will keep this from the last version that got screwed. To all those that watched me in the interim, thank you. If you have more questions, I might answer them, might not.

You think painting is soothing… that you would feel better once you finished. Sure it wouldn't be for long, but you at least feel better once it's done. Though that's dead wrong to me. I paint, and wether or not the painting is finished or well done, all I get is a slap in my face… my emotions twist it from a simple picture into stringed depression. I completed what I wanted… it just brought out something I didn't expect. Never have I felt my own work cause me to stop everything and send me down a familiar path that everyone in their life knows, a path that shuts you down hard. It's no yellow brick road, but a trail, a crooked trail that goes through a dead black wood that only beats you down more as you go through. Though when you put yourself there, it's a longer, colder walk. I think I know what they mean when they say put emotion in to your art, they don't warn you when you put too much of one in you work.

I know some think you can pick yourself up, that you can overcome anything… but when you find the thing that you can't, and there will be, that thing that breaks you down, it will only be harder. Life isn't what you make it… it's the curveballs you fail to dodge.

You know when I said I was going to write again? Well, I kinda planned to redo Walking in Paws. I know I have been saying this but now I have improved as a writer and now I really want to write Walking in Paws and have it be a bit more refined than it is now. Mostly because I feel my villain is WAY to cartoon and cliche, I decided to re create his character and now he feels more realistic, though still an appropriate antagonist. Plus Helarders sounds stupid as a government group name, so I am in process of making that portion of the story more believable too. Though if you think all you guys read is now not going to matter, it isn't. The story will still be basically the same and only a few things will be changed in terms of the actual story.

If you guys feel like checking out the first chapter that I rewrote from the ground up, I posted it in my Sta.sh sta.sh/01ei07b4ykfp for the loyal watchers that actually are still there.
